Shireesha has qualities such as being light to digest, dry, sharp, etc. Shireesha’s Taste is Astringent, Bitter, and Sweet. Its potency is Hot and it balances all three Dosha and a special affinity for the skin and lung tissues to reduce hypersensitivity. Ayurveda considers it anti-toxic and anti-allergic.

Ancient researchers consider Kantakari/ Solanum indicum useful in throat disorders, hiccups, and anti-inflammatory, and Analgesic.

As per Western research, the phytochemicals in Liquorice decrease swelling, dilute mucus secretions and decrease cough. Adhatoda vasica relieves Bronchitis and Asthma. Albizzia lebbeck powder is anti-tussive and has anti-histamine action on patients with bronchial asthma and nonspecific cough.

Adhatoda vasica contains several alkaloids in the leaves. The most important active compound is vasicine which has been compared to theophylline for bronchodilatation and relieving Asthma.

Dosage :
2 times a day 1 tablet to be taken with warm water.
Children: ½ tablet once or twice a day.
