Description

Ayurveda, an ancient Indian system of medicine over 5,000 years old, focuses on promoting health by balancing the body, mind, and spirit.  Ayurvedic health consultation emphasizes tailored treatment based on an individual’s unique nature (Prakriti) and the balance of life forces (Doshas: Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Variations in the climate impact internal balance, and erratic patterns can result in disease. Ayurveda, the Study of Life, offers a method for recognizing real phenomena and applying tridosha to address common areas. It provides a thorough explanation of every aspect of well-being, including the psychological, physical, social, and spiritual. Consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor involves preventive, prescriptive, and participative care, incorporating individualized nutrition, lifestyle counseling, and Panchakarma procedures for healing and purification.
